Summary: Futures with Rob Inc. ("Futures with Rob," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at protrader.education and any related services. By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, information collected automatically, and information received from third parties:


1.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Account Registration: Full name, email address, phone number (optional), and profile information when you create an account.
  • Educational Activity: Lesson progress, quiz and exam answers, scores, trading journal entries, and notes you create within the platform.
  • Communications: Messages, support requests, or feedback you send to us.
  • Payment Information: If applicable, billing name, address, and payment method details processed through our PCI-compliant payment processors. We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, video watch time, time spent on the platform, and click behavior.
  • Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies & Tracking: Session cookies, preference cookies, and analytics cookies. See Section 8 (Cookies) for full details.

1.3 Information from Third Parties (Google Sign-In)

When you authenticate using Google Sign-In, we receive the following data from Google, subject to the permissions you grant:

  • Your full name and email address registered with your Google account.
  • Your Google profile picture (avatar).
  • A unique Google User ID used solely to identify your account.

Google API Limited Use Disclosure: Futures with Rob's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only use Google user data to authenticate you and personalize your Futures with Rob account. We do not use this data for advertising, analytics beyond our platform, or share it with third parties for their independent use.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • Account Management: To create, secure, and manage your user account and authenticate your identity.
  • Platform Delivery: To provide access to courses, track your educational progress, display quiz results, and issue certificates of completion.
  • Personalization: To customize your learning experience, resume where you left off, and recommend relevant modules based on your progress.
  • Coaching & Support: To identify students who may need assistance, notify our coaching team, and enable instructors to reach out with personalized guidance.
  • Communications: To send you transactional emails (account setup, password resets, progress milestones), and, with your consent, educational newsletters or platform announcements.
  • Security & Fraud Prevention: To detect, investigate, and prevent unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, or abuse of our platform.
  • Legal Compliance: To fulfill our legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and respond to lawful requests from regulatory or governmental authorities.
  • Analytics & Improvement: To understand how our platform is used in aggregate, identify technical issues, and continuously improve course content and user experience.

We will not use your personal data for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you without your explicit consent.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: With trusted third-party vendors who assist us in operating our platform (e.g., cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, payment processing). These vendors are contractually prohibited from using your data for any purpose other than providing services to us.
  • Instructors & Coaching Staff: Limited progress data (course completion status, quiz scores, inactivity flags) may be shared with our internal coaching team to facilitate outreach and personalized support.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by applicable law, court order, subpoena, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Futures with Rob, its users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity, subject to the same privacy protections described herein.
  • With Your Consent: For any other purpose with your explicit, informed consent.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active or as necessary to provide you with our Services. Specifically:

  • Active account data is retained for the duration of your subscription or enrollment.
  • Educational progress records (completed lessons, quiz scores) are retained for 3 years after your last activity to support certificate verification.
  • Financial transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by applicable tax and accounting regulations.
  • After account deletion, most personal data is purged within 30 days from active systems. Some residual anonymized data may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before permanent deletion.

5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your account and associated personal data (subject to legal retention requirements). See Section 6.
  • Portability: Request a machine-readable export of your personal data in a structured, commonly used format.
  • Withdrawal of Consent: Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in emails or through your account settings.
  • Restriction: Request restriction of processing in certain circumstances (e.g., while a dispute is being resolved).
  • Objection: Object to processing of your personal data based on our legitimate interests.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at privacy@protrader.education. We will respond within 30 days. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your privacy rights.

6. Account & Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your Futures with Rob account and all associated personal data at any time.


How to Request Deletion:

  • Log into your account, navigate to Profile & Settings, and select "Delete My Account."
  • Alternatively, email privacy@protrader.education with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from your registered email address.

What Gets Deleted: Your profile, name, email, course progress, quiz attempts, trade journal entries, and any other personally identifiable information associated with your account.


Retention Exceptions: We may retain certain data as required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for tax purposes) or to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, in anonymized or aggregated form only.


Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Course progress and certificates cannot be recovered after deletion.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

  • Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2+ (HTTPS) for all communications.
  • Encryption of sensitive data at rest using AES-256.
  • Role-based access controls limiting employee access to personal data on a need-to-know basis.
  • Regular security assessments and vulnerability scanning.
  • Multi-factor authentication requirements for platform administrators.

Despite these measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that is likely to result in risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law (within 72 hours where required).

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience, maintain your session, and analyze platform usage.

  • Essential Cookies: Required for core platform functionality (authentication, session management). Cannot be disabled.
  • Preference Cookies: Store your settings such as dark mode or language preferences. Persist across sessions.
  • Analytics Cookies: Collect aggregated, anonymized data on how users interact with our platform to improve content and features. You may opt out via your browser settings or our cookie preference center.

Most browsers allow you to control cookies via browser settings. Disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to use the platform.

9. Children's Privacy

Futures with Rob is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you are under 18, please do not use our platform or submit any personal information. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 18, please contact us at privacy@protrader.education.

10. International Data Transfers

Futures with Rob is operated from the United States. If you access our platform from outside the United States, your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence. By using our Services, you consent to this transfer. Where required by applicable law (such as GDPR), we implement appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms) to protect cross-border data transfers.

11. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the CPRA:

  • Right to Know: Request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources of that information, the business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell personal information. You therefore have no need to opt out, but you can confirm this by contacting us.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your CCPA rights.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or platform features. When we make material changes, we will notify you by:

  • Posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
  • Sending an email notification to your registered email address.
  • Displaying a prominent notice within the platform for 30 days following a material update.

Your continued use of the platform after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
